Inspiration
originated from a love of old wood: framing lumber, reclaimed basketball courts, bowling alleys and wine staves. Turning "trash" into something beautiful is an amazing and humbling thing.But what we realized shortly after Semihandmade's launch in 2010 was that we were contributing to the problem: because kitchens are so specific and every job totally unique, there's a fair amount of waste. We're happy to say we are now able to re-use a lot of that material in the
line.
